How To Install Tutor LMS Pro
To install the Tutor LMS Pro plugin:
- To begin, locate the free download link for the Tutor LMS Pro plugin at the end of this post and click on it.
- From the WordPress Dashboard go to the repository Plugins > Add New on the left side of the dashboard.
- Next we go to the plugin of the WordPress website and upload the Tutor LMS Pro plugin that has just been downloaded
- Click Install.
- Click Activate. This will take you to the installed plugins page.
Once completed, you can access all features by clicking on the Tutor LMS Pro Plugin option on the right-side menu of your WordPress dashboard.
Permalink Settings
Permalink is the custom URL structure for your website. With Tutor, you must use Post Name because the dashboard URL and other dependent links are set up based on their slug.
To set up the correct permalink type, go to WordPress Dashboard > Settings > Permalinks.
If you have set anything other than Post Name, then there is a very high chance of getting 404 error on the frontend page.
Note: After updating the permalink, you must have to clear the browser cache!
General Settings

Dashboard Page: The Dashboard Page will be used for the student and instructor dashboard that they will be able to access from the frontend. It contains everything they will need to manage their account and its capabilities. The Dashboard Page should be selected automatically but if it’s not, you can do so using this dropdown.
Terms and Conditions Page: Select the page you want to set as your Terms & Conditions from this dropdown.
Reset to Default: The Reset to Default button located on the top-right allows you to reset every single change you applied to the Settings. This is really useful if you want to go back to the default settings as you can achieve this with one click.

Pagination: Set the number of items you would like displayed per page on the Backend Tutor LMS Menu Pages like Courses, Students, Instructors, etc.
Instructor
Allow Instructors To Publish Courses: Enable this toggle to allow Instructors to publish the course directly. But if disabled, admins are able to review the course content before publishing.
Allow Instructors to Trash Courses: Enable this option to allow instructors to move courses to the trash. Disabling it will prevent instructors from trashing courses.
Become An Instructor Button: Enable this option to display the ‘Become An Instructor’ button on the Student Dashboard.
